pro adds two things to tinydot: your own domain, and private sites.
what you get
- your own domain for any site, like
yourname.cominstead ofusername.tinydot.com. see custom domains for the DNS setup - private sites, open only to the people you invite. see access control
what stays free
- public sites on
username.tinydot.com, as many as you like - sites that already had a custom domain, or were already private, before pro existed. they stay as they are, without pro
price
- $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US
- lower in many countries. the app shows the price for your country before you subscribe
- the first 14 days are free. cancel before they end and you pay nothing
how to subscribe
- open the tinydot app on your Mac or iPhone
- go to settings, or pick your own domain or a private site for a site
- choose monthly or yearly and tap Subscribe
the App Store bills the subscription. it renews on its own until you cancel. your plan shows in the app's settings and on tinydot.com/account.
how to cancel
- Mac: open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings, then Subscriptions
- iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions
pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
when pro ends
- for 30 days nothing changes. your domain and your private sites keep working
- after 30 days your domain sends visitors to the site's tinydot.com address, like
username.tinydot.com, and a private site opens only for you, its owner - nothing is deleted. your files, your domain settings and your invite list are kept
- subscribe again and both come back as they were
